Hey There!

I'm Amber, the studio owner and girl behind the camera. I’m an ‘elder’ millennial which means I grew up during a time when body shaming and unrealistic societal & beauty expectations ran wild. (aka the 90’s-2000’s) This conditioning had a huge impact on me and I truly hated my body even in my earliest memories. It held me back in many aspects of my life.

The worst part was that I truly felt that this was just a normal part of life as a woman. Until I discovered boudoir photography and began questioning everything I once believed!

I never thought I’d be here today feeling how I feel now and helping others on their journey to self love and acceptance through the art of empowering portraiture. But here I am and I couldn’t be happier!

It’s time to break up with society’s toxic expectations!

I’ve been a photographer for over 7 years now, but it wasn’t until 2020 that I began offering boudoir photography. We were staying in a local hotel while our home was under repair and I couldn’t help but think how perfect our suite would be for boudoir photo sessions. I spent weeks researching everything I could about the art of boudoir photography. I quickly learned that it isn’t about the photos as much as it is about the experience, and how empowering it is for women.

I knew I needed to put myself in front of the camera first so I could see how the whole experience felt before attempting to work with clients. That was my first self portrait session & my first boudoir experience….

I’ve never looked at myself in the mirror the same since! Right away I knew I needed to help others experience this too!

Since then I have spent the last few years unlearning all the things that made me feel horrible about my self, and uncovering the things my soul truly desires. Learning how to accept myself has given me my power back, and freed me from the constraints of society. It is incredibly healing for me to help each and every woman I work with and I’m forever grateful to all the women who have trusted me! Everyone deserves to love themselves & feel truly confident, beautiful & sexy!!
